One of the few institutions outside the major urban centers dedicated to art, architecture and design, Price Tower Arts Center is home to a growing collection of modern and contemporary art, works on paper, furniture, textiles and design. The primary mission of the Arts Center is to preserve Frank Lloyd Wright's only built skyscraper and explore the intersection of art, architecture and design in the 20th and 21st Centuries. The permanent collection includes significant pieces by Frank Lloyd Wright and renowned Oklahoma architect Bruce Goff, Dennis Oppenheim, Karim Rashid, Zaha Hadid, as well as other seminal examples of 20th and 21st century art, architecture and design. Research materials in the collections and museum library are available through the Architecture Study Center, open year round to students, scholars and the general public.
A vibrant year-round exhibition schedule features a wide range of art, architecture and design from around the globe. The Arts Center hosts important traveling exhibitions and also organizes exhibitions from its own collections and from the collections of other museums.
Price Tower Arts Center galleries feature both temporary and permanent collection on view Tuesday-Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 12pm to 5pm. Tours available daily, during normal business hours. (Due to high volume of visitors, reservations required).
Group Tower Tours
Group tours (10 to 25 persons max) of the Tower must be arranged two weeks prior to the date of the tour.

The design in fact did not shrink. Rather the footprint was slightly modified to accomodate not only the original apartment design, but also office spaces within the tower. The original 1929 St. Marks in the Bouwerie design called for multiple apartment tower's, but when it was revisited in the early 1950s Wright determined one tower was sufficient for the H.C. Price Company needs.
Refer to Price Tower's Catalogue published by Rizzoli: Prairie Skyscraper: Frank Lloyd Wright's Price Tower, 2005 for more details on the design to construction of the Price Tower.
