Frank Lloyd Wright

Frank Lloyd WrightThe Arts Center is dedicated to the stewardship of the greatest object in its collection, the Price Tower, Wright's late masterpiece of urban architecture. The Center's Wright collection is displayed in a dedicated gallery on the second level and spans the architect's career from the Prairie Style and Usonia to his late work. The extant Wright interiors of the 17th-19th floors are being assiduously researched, documented, conserved and restored through funding from the National Endowment of the Arts, the Henry Luce Foundation and the National Trust for Historic Preservation (available to the public twice daily by docent-led tour). The collection has largely been catalogued in Anthony Alofsin, ed., Prairie Skyscraper: Frank Lloyd Wright's Price Tower, New York, 2005, pp. 114-166.
