Fall 2008 Family Arts Festival: Paint the Town Green!

They say it takes a community to raise a child and every year we prove that by bringing together citizens and business owners of the Bartlesville area together for the Family Arts Festival in downtown Bartlesville. On October 11th from 11am to 3pm Price Tower Arts Center will be hosting its 6th Annual Family Arts Festival, themed Paint the Town Green! With over 450 participants at last year’s event we hope to make this year’s event bigger and better!
This year will bring large tents corralling beautiful works of art from local and regional artists, a student art show, a family sculpture competition and so much more that promises to excite people of all ages.
Keeping with the theme of Paint the Town Green, a children’s arts and crafts area with many stations will be set up where kids can create anything they wish using recycled materials.
A day of creating masterpieces will make any artist hungry, so we’ve invited Dink’s back for mouth-
watering bar-b-q, and are adding Bill’s delicious hotdogs and homemade dishes by Rose LaFlore to satisfy any appetite. Back by popular demand, The Red Dirt Rangers will have you up and on your feet with a musical mix of bluegrass, rock-n-roll, Cajun, swing, folk and more!
The activities, games, art displays, and good ‘ole fashioned fun takes every bit of help from our volunteers and community leaders.
