Author Paddy Calistro To Speak In Bartlesville

BARTLESVILLE, OK – A leading authority on Edith Head will be a part of a lecture and book signing at the Bartlesville Public Library on Thursday, March 25th.

Paddy Calistro is the co-author of the only authorized biography of famed Hollywood designer Edith Head.  Her book, Edith Head’s Hollywood was published after the death of Edith Head.  The evening with Calistro will include a preview of the exhibition, Lights! Camera! Fashion!:  The Film Costumes of Edith Head at Price Tower Arts Center beginning at 5:30 p.m.  At 6:30, Calistro will offer a public presentation about the life and work of Edith Head followed by a book signing.

Calistro is a long-time fashion journalist.  She is a former staff writer for the Los Angeles Times and a West Coast reporter for Allure.  Additionally, she has been a contributor to Glamour, Mademoiselle, House Beautiful, Elle, Four Seasons Magazine and others.  She is now the publisher and editor-in-chief of Angel City Press, a publishing company she co-founded.
