Primary Function: The receptionist is the first impression of the Arts Center to the public. This position helps to ensure that visitors and callers have a positive experience during their interaction with the Tower and its programs.
Description of Duties: Direct inbound phone calls. Greet visitors. Provide information about exhibits and tours. Receive packages and other deliveries. Sign up visitors for tours and collect admission for tours and the gallery.
Time Commitment: One shift per month, approximately two hours. May choose days Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Skills: Must enjoy sharing your enthusiasm with visitors of all ages. Comfortable answering multi-line telephone. Some computer experience would be helpful.
Training: Given by the Retail Manager on all of the abover responsibilities.
