What Is A Docent?
Docent means teacher.  The docents at Price Tower Arts Centers are both teachers and ambassadors for a building that is an architectural landmark and an art museum.  Our docents are enthusiastic about the history of Price Tower Arts Center and our world renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

Fear No Art!
No prior background in art history or architecture is necessary to be a successful docent at Price Tower Arts Center.  Docent training will prepare prospective docents to conduct both tower tours and museum tours.   All you need is a love of learning and a desire to support your community with your free time.

Who Can Volunteer?
There are no age or education requirements to volunteer at Price Tower Arts Center.  Individuals must simply have a desire to share the history of Price Tower.  We need people of every background with any set of skills.

Ways To Volunteer
There is really no limit to how you can help Price Tower Arts Center.  Those interested in giving tours can become docents.  But, we also need volunteers who can assist with special events, educational programming and administrative support.  Volunteers may help with one event or give some of their time each week.

Benefits Of Volunteering
Price Tower Arts Center volunteers get to meet great people from all over the world. There are opportunities to interact with the Bartlesville community. You’ll gain new friends and fellowship with other art enthusiasts.  Volunteers enjoy a 20% discount at the Wright Place Museum Store. Price Tower Arts Center also hosts exclusive docent/volunteer socials and events.
